A CCTV system is worth what its footage is worth. Camera choice, mounting position, lighting, field of view, recording quality and storage decide whether an incident produces usable evidence or an unidentifiable figure in the dark. Those decisions are made at survey and design stage, not after an incident.

Two very different things get called “CCTV monitoring”. They are delivered differently, cost differently and suit different sites, so it is worth being clear which one you are buying.
Authorised users in your organisation securely access permitted live and recorded camera feeds from configured devices, where the system supports it. It is set up during installation, no third party is involved, and nobody outside your business is watching. It suits sites where someone on your side will look when something happens.
Where professional monitoring is required, a monitoring centre receives and handles CCTV activations under an agreed procedure. AGS provides this as part of a managed CCTV solution, with the monitoring function delivered through an appropriate accredited monitoring centre. AGS does not operate its own control room; we specify the system, arrange the monitoring provision and remain your point of contact.
What raises an alert, how it is handled, who is contacted and in what order, and what happens next are agreed as part of the monitoring specification for your site rather than assumed. Where an attendance is wanted, that can be arranged through your own key holders or through AGS alarm response and mobile patrols.
