Our Security Process
How We Deliver Healthcare and Supported Living Security
Care settings demand officers who understand safeguarding, resident welfare
and discreet, non-confrontational working. AGS Security follows a structured
four-stage process so every healthcare and supported living assignment is
properly assessed, appropriately staffed and effectively managed.
Consultation & Planning
We start by discussing your setting, resident profile, staffing hours and
any safeguarding, CQC or contractual requirements that shape the cover.
- Initial security consultation
- Site and shift pattern review
- Safeguarding and welfare priorities
Site & Risk Assessment
We review building access, communal and restricted areas, lone-working
points, resident vulnerability and foreseeable operational risks.
- Entry and exit point assessment
- Risk and vulnerability checks
- Recommended officer deployment
Officer Briefing & Deployment
SIA-licensed, DBS-checked officers are selected for the setting, assigned
clear duties and fully briefed before their first shift on site.
- Officer role allocation
- Access control and patrol briefing
- Incident and escalation procedures
Ongoing Operational Support
Our management team stays available throughout the contract to supervise
cover, handle shift changes and respond to changing site requirements.
- Ongoing operational supervision
- Clear reporting to site management
- Rapid cover for absence and escalation
