AGS Security is recruiting for security manager jobs West Midlands-wide, based from our Wolverhampton office. This is an operational management role covering officer deployment, site supervision, rota planning and client liaison across construction, commercial and residential sites.You will hold a valid SIA licence, have supervisory or management experience in the security industry, and be able to complete BS 7858 screening. A full UK driving licence is required as the role involves regular site visits.

The role suits someone who can handle short-notice cover, resolve issues on site and maintain standards across a dispersed team.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Security Manager to oversee our security operations and ensure a safe environment for our premises. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing security policies, managing security staff, and implementing security measures.

Duties

Develop and implement security policies and procedures
Manage and supervise security staff
Conduct regular security assessments
Monitor surveillance systems and respond to security incidents
Coordinate with law enforcement agencies when necessary
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements

Proven experience in security management
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques
First aid certification is desirable
Proficient in surveillance systems and CCTV operation
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies efficiently
